Labor’s candidate for Theodore has lived on the Gold Coast for more than 20 years.
Tracey worked three jobs to make ends meet while raising two children on the Gold Coast. That’s why she’s passionate about fighting for local jobs and fair pay for workers.
Having worked for twenty years as an early childhood educator and advocate, Tracey is director of a local childcare centre and believes all children – regardless of their background – deserve the best start in life.
Tracey is proud to be part of Labor’s team who are committed to being part of a government that can deliver a world-class education for every child. Tracey has been instrumental in advocating for pay rises for early childhood educators - some of the nation’s lowest-paid workers.
Tracey will always put the Gold Coast first and will prioritise fighting for extra funding for schools, TAFEs and health care along with funding for road and transport projects in the Coast’s burgeoning northern growth corridor.
As an active member of her community and a Commonwealth Games volunteer, Tracey will always put our community first.
