Paul Jacob and his wife Christine have lived in the Townsville for over 28 years. A father of three, and a grandfather of seven, Paul knows there is no better place to raise a family than the beautiful Northern Beaches.
Elected in 2016, Paul served for four years as a Townsville City Councillor for Division 2, Townsville City Council and previously held management roles in Information Technology at Townsville Hospital as well as James Cook University. As a member of the Community Safety and Advisory Committee in Council, Paul worked with Government and Non-Government Organisations in keeping our coastal community safe.
Paul is actively serving as a member of the Northern Beaches Community Consultative Group, working with the Deeragun Police for Community safety as well as engaging and representing the interests of the local community.
Paul’s experience and understanding of our local community means he will be a strong voice in the Palaszczuk Labor team. He will continue to work to put Queensland on the road to recover by making strong health decisions on the border. He has what it takes to deliver Queensland’s economic recovery and keep locals in our community working.
