Candidate for Caloundra
Jason grew up in Caloundra and he and his wife are now raising their son there - he loves Caloundra.
Jason has always been drawn to positions of service - serving the nation in the Regular Army after he left school and more recently serving community safety as a corrective services officer for the last two decades.
Jason stood as the Labor Candidate for Caloundra at the 2017 State election. He is passionate about his community and its unique lifestyle, and is honoured to again be given the opportunity to represent Caloundra on Premier Palaszczuk’s team.
He was only narrowly defeated in 2017 and is looking forward to hitting the ground running to bring a Labor win to the Sunshine Coast.
Jason is a proven, active advocate in the community including working with local traders to maintain the iconic status of Caloundra’s Bulcock Street precinct. He also actively supports a number of community based groups such as TAPP (Take Action for Pumicestone Passage). Jason is a strong voice for small businesses in the electorate including the Beerwah and Landsborough communities.
He has the local experience, energy and enthusiasm to deliver for Caloundra.
