As the principal of Cannonvale State School, Angie is passionate about education and ensuring every child getting the best start to life.
Angie understands the importance of community in regional areas and started a principal preschool oral language development program to help children from birth to year 5 with early development. Further as a new mother when this program started, Angie wanted to help parents in the community connect.
Through her local school, Angie has seen firsthand how important the Palaszczuk Government’s investment in frontline services right across Queensland is for local communities.
As the Whitsunday region recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic, Angie is dedicated to fighting for local jobs, protecting frontline services and supporting the tourism industry. Angie is passionate about our local community and will fight for improved local services and infrastructure.
Angie and her husband Lee are raising their two children Ben and Katie who attend Proserpine State High School.
