Prior to entering politics, she was a principal at leading national law firm Maurice Blackburn. Terri established, and for five years led, that firm’s Queensland Employment and Industrial Law Section.
Her peers in the profession recognised her as a leading employment and workplace relations lawyer - she was among a handful of lawyers consistently ranked as Queensland’s best lawyers in that field, in Doyle’s guide to the legal profession.
Terri has also served on governance bodies, most recently the Board of YWCA Qld Ltd.
She lives locally with her husband and two children, and was elected to the seat of Griffith in 2014.
